Updating tools
==============
Once purchased a license, you will always get all updates for free. No matter
how small or big this update is!

Connect will you automatically inform you about updates. In order to show
update notifications, we recommend keeping the checkbox
**show update notifications** as seen in the
`settings section <main_window.html#settings>`_ turned on.

Once an update is available, connect shows a dialog at the bottom right of
your screen.

To update the tool, click the notification. This will launch connect displaying
the second tab **installed tools.** In here you will find an update button for
the specific tool.

Clicking the blue update button will show the changes being made to that new
version in a dialog. Confirming it will update to the latest version directly
inside connect.
